Project 3: Bouncy Ball
Created by: Alisa Yang
Date due: Mar. 24, 2022
Final Animation
1. Storyboards/ Description:

This short story is about a fox taking a walk (jump) in a sunny winter morning. The fox is hit by a falling acorn, but the acorn is a magic acorn in that if animal A eats it, it will make up another similar animal B just like animal A, and animal B will mimic animal A's behaviors.
2. Animation Principles Used:
1. Squash and stretch

2. Follow-through and overlapping action (the tail of the fox when it jumps)

3. Anticipation (the behaviors of breathing and smelling before the fox jumps and eats the acorn, breathes and tilts its head)

4. Other principles I used: Exaggeration (the exaggerated explosion)

3. Still Images of My Animation:

I downloaded the rigged models of the fox and the bever and these snow scene models from the Internet.

4. Some Final Thoughts:
I tried Arnold rendering for this project. The shading and lighting effects are awesome but it took a super long time to finish rendering just 22 seconds of animation when I used HD resolution. If I want to use Arnold rendering in the future, I will definitely save more time for rendering.

Update! Finally finished rendering in Arnold!
